The American Jigsaw Puzzle Society is made up of jigsaw puzzle enthusiasts from the United States, Canada,
Mexico and countries around the world. Membership is open to all, and is free. Our only requirement is that
you have an interest in jigsaw puzzles. That interest can be in assembling jigsaw puzzles, collecting
jigsaw puzzles, or other aspects of the hobby, such as jigsaw puzzle design.
The purpose of this website is to provide news about jigsaw puzzle events, reviews of jigsaw puzzles, and informative
articles about jigsaw puzzles.
Mark and Allison Cappitella created this page in the hopes of reaching other people interested in old
"hand cut" wooden jigsaw puzzles. If you have any of these old puzzles, and are interested in talking
to them about the history behind them, feel free to do so. They also buy these old puzzles for their personal
collection, and in some cases re-sell or trade a few puzzles.
The Association of Game and Puzzle Collectors is dedicated to the collecting and preservation of old games and
puzzles, and to research on the history of games and puzzles. It is a nonprofit group, staffed entirely by
dedicated volunteers.
