The Canadian content within the Collection is extensive, although not comprehensive. Noteworthy are several important names in the history of Canadian cooking, like Margot Oliver and Jehane Benoît. The Cookery Book Collection also includes many cookbooks compiled by various women's organizations, including the Canadian Women's Press Club (Montreal Branch), churches, including Holy Trinity Anglican Church guild (Hawkesbury, Ontario), and St. George's Church, Women's Guild (Montreal), and local Montreal and nationwide charities.
